Who makes this
Humanauta is made by one person in Costa Rica, with no company behind it, and a simple idea: life goes by fast, and it is worth learning to live it better with others.
Why it exists
Nobody teaches us what to do with envy, pride, loss or hate. Humanauta brings together what is known about these topics in short, practical routes for kids, teens and adults.
The person who makes it tells the why in a letter.
Where the content comes from
Every route is based on published studies, and every fact has its source next to it. The stories are made up and marked as such. At the end of each route, the person who wrote it shares something of their own, and that part is real.
What is still missing
The routes have not yet been reviewed by an outside professional, such as a psychologist, a counselor or a teacher. We are looking for one.
No route replaces professional help. If something you read hurts a lot, talk to someone you trust or look for help.
How artificial intelligence is used
The routes are written with the help of artificial intelligence: to find studies, organize ideas and draft text. A person reads, corrects and approves every text before it is published.
How it is sustained
All the content is free, forever, with no ads. The project is sustained by materials for private schools (class guides, worksheets and workbooks) and, later on, by voluntary contributions.
Public schools and schools without resources get them free or at a symbolic price. Nobody is left out for lack of money.
Your privacy
No accounts, no ads, no trackers. Your progress and your logbook are saved only on your device. We do not know who you are, and that is fine.
The only thing that leaves your device is a +1. When you finish a lesson, a route or the practice, or when you tap «This happens to me too», we add one to the total. We don't keep cookies, your IP address or anything that says who you are. With those totals we show you how many people are on the same road.
Made in Costa Rica
Humanauta was born in Costa Rica and is written in neutral Spanish and in English, for people in any country.
